Guidance Notes
Step 1
Specify either the internal or external
diameter of the dome required depending
upon which is the more critical dimension
for your application. The wall thickness will
depend upon the size of the dome. The maximum height will be approximately
half the diameter. Please also state the
units for the dimension you enter.
Step 2
Specify the number of doors required and
their locations. Please also specify whether
pressurised awnings are required for the
doorways (see illustration).
Step 3
Select a colour for the dome from our
standard range. If you require a different
colour or have a colour scheme in mind
then please provide details of this in the additional requirements section. If you have
a requirement for artwork to be applied to
the dome then details of this can also be submitted in the additional requirements
section. Please note that non-standard
colours may be subject to a minimum order
quantity.
Step 4
Specifiy the anchoring system you require.
This will depend upon the type of surface on
which the dome will be erected. Choose
spiral anchors for soft ground such as grass/chemical anchors for hard surfaces such as
concrete that can be drilled/or ballast tanks
for surfaces that cannot be drilled. If the dome is to be used indoors then an
anchoring system may not be necessary.
Step 5
Specify any additional requirements. These
could include requirements for flooring,
lighting/heating/air conditioning etc. This
section can also be used to provide details
of special colours or artwork. Please feel
free to attach documents containing
specifications or artwork. If multiple
domes are required then please state the
quantity in this section.
