Benefits of a Tectoniks Structure
Whereas traditional framed buildings have to support non-structural cladding or membranes, every square metre of a Tectoniks structure contributes to its strength.  This results in a very weight-efficient structure which is highly portable, packs into a very small volume and requires minimal manpower and equipment to transport and erect.  Large structures can be erected in an incredibly short space of time without the need for cranes or other heavy lifting equipment.  

Unlike conventional air-supported structures, ours do not require the occupied interior space to be pressurised.  Only the air contained within the walls of the structure is pressurised - providing a comfortable, quiet interior environment without the need for airlocks or large, high power blowers.

Air pressure is maintained automatically by a failsafe control system which continually monitors the cavity pressure and actuates small electrical blowers when required. The blowers only operate periodically making the power requirements for the structures extremely low.
